Masterchef Canada S01E08 Major Steaks

In this series of MasterChef Canada, 50 home cooks from across the country compete for the title of Canada's first ever MasterChef and a cash prize of $100,000. Each episode follows a different home cook as they prepare a signature dish and plate it in order to impress the three judges. Featured home cooks include Tamara, a vegan from Calgary, Alberta, Eric, a 21-year-old chemical engineer, Marida and Marida, twin sisters from Trinidad, Billy Joe, a practical nurse from Newfoundland, Carly, a home cook determined to prove her cooking skills, Carmella, Dale, and Dora, three home cooks with something to prove, and Dora, a plumber cooking for her son. Each home cook has a unique story and is determined to show the judges their passion and skill.
